Icy Roads Possible As Winter Storm Moves Into Northeast Ohio
Dangerous road conditions could make commutes difficult, the National Weather Service warns.
CLEVELAND — A potent brew of winter weather could make road conditions slippery in Northeast Ohio.
A low-pressure system is moving out of Oklahoma and into Ohio, bringing with it freezing rain and snow. Accumulation will be light, the National Weather Service says, but conditions will make for dangerous driving.
"Motorists should be alert for black ice on untreated surfaces. Use caution while walking as untreated sidewalks and outdoor steps could be coated with ice," the agency warned.
