- For the sixth time in three months, a car exiting I-90 has crashed into Sherry Heart's yard on West Boulevard in Cleveland. Heart, who has lived in her home her entire life, fears someone will be seriously hurt or killed due to a severe design flaw at the interstate exit. The guardrail in her yard has been replaced 44 times. She said, "I'm still waiting for ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) to do something, even if it's something temporarily. I know they talked about doing something at the end of 2023, but, the problem is, it's happening now." (Cleveland 19 News)
- Last week, criminal charges were filed against two 14-year-old Cleveland boys. One of the boys has been accused of possessing more than two dozen stolen cars in the last two months. The other is accused of ramming a stolen Kia into a 62-year-old man at a convenience store while fleeing from police. According to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O?Malley's office, the number of insured Kias and Hyundais stolen has increased by more than 233 percent in Cuyahoga County from October to December.
