Johnson & Johnson Vaccine To Be Offered At Wolstein Center
Ohioans can get the one-shot COVID-19 vaccine starting May 11.

CLEVELAND — Starting Tuesday, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available at the mass vaccination clinic at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland.
The J&J vaccine will be available from May 11 through May 17. The vaccine is available to anyone 18 or older.
After a brief pause, federal officials deemed the J&J vaccine safe for use. The risk of vaccine side-effects is "extremely low," according to medical experts.

The clinic will resume administering Pfizer vaccines starting May 18 and continuing through May 31. The clinic could be extended into June and beyond if vaccine demand ramps up. However, Ohio has seen plummeting vaccination rates.
When vaccination first opened to the general public, nearly 500,000 Ohioans were vaccinated in one week. During the final week of April, only 150,000 Ohioans were vaccinated, the Ohio Capital Journal reported.
