LeBron James-Led 'Space Jam 2' Trailer Drops
It may not be as epic as a 3-1 comeback to win the NBA Finals, but Ohioans will still think LeBron looks pretty cool in this trailer.

CLEVELAND — For some children of the 1990s, there is perhaps no greater source of nostalgia than the line, "Welcome to the Space Jam!"
On Saturday, a new generation of kids got their first taste of the "Space Jam."
HBO Max released the debut trailer for the LeBron James-led film, "Space Jam: A New Legacy" on Saturday. It's a loosely-connected sequel to the 1997 "Space Jam" which starred another iconic basketball player — Michael Jordan.

This movie will see James recruit the Looney Tunes to his team as he plays a high-stakes game of basketball to free his kidnapped son. Despite that somewhat heavy premise, the film has all the marks of a light, breezy, fun family film.
Rather than 1997's MonStars, James will instead play against the Goon Squad, a team of superpowered hoopers. Other NBA All-Stars taking the court in the film include: Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard and Klay Thompson. There will also be appearances from Jim Carrey, Don Cheadle and Michael B. Jordan (no relation to that other basketball player).
