Man Dies After Being Found On Sidewalk With Multiple Gunshot Wounds In Cleveland

Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting on the city's east side.

CLEVELAND, OH – A man, who was found on a sidewalk on the city's east side, died after being shot multiple times, according to police. Homicides detectives are investigating the shooting.

Police were called to the 10000-block of Hathaway Avenue just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police report. Officers found the man with multiple gunshot wounds and provided first aid until an ambulance arrived.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Police had no other information on the shooting this morning.
