Man Killed In Shooting Near Wildwood Park

The man was shot and killed late Thursday night on Pythias Avenue, according to police.

CLEVELAND, OH — A 24-year-old man was shot and killed near Wildwood Park in Cleveland late Thursday night, police said.

Police believe the man was shot while in his car and shot again as he ran from his car. The man's car was found in gear without a driver at the entrance to Humphrey Park.

Around 11:50 p.m. on Thursday, cops patrolling near Wildwood Park heard shots fired on Pythias Avenue and found the victim in a vacant lot in the 12900 block. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Members of the homicide unit responded to the scene to investigate. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects.
