Man Shot To Death Along Detroit Ave., Suspect Turns Himself In
A 21-year-old, who has been charged with aggravated murder, also turned in a handgun.

CLEVELAND, OH – A 34-year-old man is dead and another in police custody and charged with murder after the two were involved in an altercation, police said.
Officers were called to the area near West 80th Street and Detroit Avenue at 8 a.m. Wednesday on a report that a man had been shot. Officers found the man, who had been shot multiple times, in a lot at 7922 Detroit Ave. Medics took the man to MetroHeath Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Shaylamar Gilmore of Cleveland.

The suspected gunman, Michael Lemar McKenzie, 21, later turned himself into police, according to a report. The suspect also turned in a 9 mm handgun. McKenzie has been charged with aggravated murder.
Narcotics were found on the victim, police said. Homicide detectives and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating.
