A 34-year-old mother of nine was arrested as a suspect in the investigation of her missing 5-year-old boy.

CLEVELAND, OH – Remains found at a West 80th Street home earlier this week have been positively identified as those of 5-year-old Jordan Rodriguez, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Officer.

Police on Tuesday found the remains buried in bags in the backyard of a house at 1361 W. 80th St. The boy had been reported missing by his mother, Larissa Maria Rodriguez, who has been charged with murder in his death, reports Cleveland.com.

Cleveland Police responded to the home at approximately 10 a.m. Monday. Larissa Rodriquez, 34, originally claimed Jordan was in Houston with paternal relatives. Through further investigation and interviews, it was discovered that Rodriguez was not telling the truth about the boy's whereabouts, and she was taken into custody.
