Ohio Turnpike Reopened In Cuyahoga County After Truck Hits Sewage Pipe
Traffic was again flowing Monday morning after the messy wreck.

BEREA, OH — A stretch of the Ohio Turnpike through Cuyahoga County was closed due to an early morning traffic wreck on Monday that caused an overhead sewer pipe to rupture and spill on the highway. All lanes, both westbound and eastbound were closed for several hours.
By 8:30 a.m., all but one eastbound lane had been re-opened reported the Ohio Highway Patrol. The crash happened just before 3 a.m. The turnpike was closed between mileposts 164.4 and 168.5. Eastbound traffic was being diverted at the Interstate 71 exit. Westbound traffic was being diverted at the I-77 exit.
A westbound truck on the turnpike hit the overhead pipe, the patrol reported. A second truck, which was following the first truck, hit the debris from the pipe, and overturned and spilled its load.
