Part Of West 44th Street Closed Starting Monday
The Ohio Department of Transportation will close part of W. 44th Street through the end of the month.

CLEVELAND — Part of W. 44th Street in Cleveland will be closed starting Monday, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced.
W. 44th will be closed between S. Marginal Road and Buckley Avenue. The closure will begin at 7 a.m. Monday and continue through late April. Crews will be doing road repairs during that time.
Drivers who use that route will be detoured down S. Marginal to Buckley Avenue, ODOT said.

The W. 44th closure is part of the W. 44th Street bridge replacement project, which should be finished in October.
As part of the project, W. 44th Street over I-90 is closed through late October 2021 for bridge construction. I-90 under W. 44th will continue to have various nightly lane restrictions through the end of April.
