The long-overdue pavement work on Scranton Road north to Carter Road Lift Bridge began this week and will continue through December.

CLEVELAND, OH -- Commuters to downtown from the West Side and southwest suburbs found their usual route through the Flats altered this week. Work on drainage and pavement removal and repair began from Scranton Road to the Carter Lift Bridge Nov. 13. Local Scranton traffic will be down to one lane, with two-way operation.
The removal of pavement, drainage work and pavement replacement will take about a month. Work will be done 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes to downtown during this time.
