Severe Thunderstorms Possible In Cuyahoga County
Rain is a near certainty, but damaging thunderstorms could also form Wednesday.
CLEVELAND — Severe thunderstorms could hit Cuyahoga County this afternoon or evening, the National Weather Service announced.
There is a 50 percent chance of severe thunderstorms, but if they develop large hail and damaging winds could hit the area. Rain is a near certainty at some point on Wednesday, with showers expected across Northeast Ohio.
The National Weather Service says there's a 90 percent chance of showers overnight. Rain is expected to persist through the night and into Thursday, spoiling the debut of the NFL Draft in Cleveland.

The showers should taper off by Friday morning, the National Weather Service predicts. Temperatures for the weekend will be temperate and cool following days of precipitation.
