Severe Thunderstorms Possible In Northeast Ohio
The National Weather Service said severe thunderstorms could form Tuesday evening.
CLEVELAND — Severe thunderstorms could form Tuesday evening in Northeast Ohio, according to the National Weather Service.
"A few severe thunderstorms are possible today, especially this afternoon through early evening. Quarter-size or slightly bigger hail and damaging wind gusts are the main threats from any severe storm," the agency said in a hazardous weather outlook.
Most of northern Ohio faces a 50 percent chance of storms developing in their area. The storms could form in the following counties: Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Huron, Medina, Summit, Portage, Trumbull, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Stark, Mahoning, Marion, Morrow, Holmes and Knox.

There's a chance showers continue through Wednesday afternoon, though the worst storms should calm overnight, forecasts said. While Wednesday evening and Thursday morning could offer a brief reprieve, additional rainfall is expected Thursday and Friday in Ohio.
Temperatures will remain in the 50s and 40s throughout the week due to the storms. There is chance for additional precipitation during the coming weekend, though temperatures could climb into the low 60s on Saturday and Sunday.
