Shooting On Cleveland's West Side: 1 Dead, 1 Wounded
A 33-year-old was killed and a 17-year-old was shot in the face this week in Cleveland.
CLEVELAND — One person was killed and another hurt when gunfire erupted on Cleveland's west side on Wednesday morning.
At 7:50 a.m., police found a 33-year-old man on Ignatius Avenue. He had been shot multiple times, police said. Two handguns were found near his body.
EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead on the street.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit then took over the investigation.
Police determined that a second person was hurt during the shooting, a 17-year-old. He was shot in the face, police said.

Surveillance footage has been obtained by police. A 16-year-old suspect has been identified, a police spokesperson said Friday morning.
The shooting is still under investigation.
