Thanksgiving Grocery Stores Hours In Ohio: Open And Closed

Everyone has had a Thanksgiving morning crisis. Whether it's a critical lack of gravy or a pup that got into the mashed potatoes — we've all needed to make a last minute run to the grocery store on Turkey Day.

In fact, few things seem to be able to unify Americans these days, but one of them is the overwhelming dread that hits when you realize a key ingredient for that perfect Thanksgiving feast never made it into the shopping cart. For some people it'll be cranberry sauce. For others, it'll be bread rolls. For all us, it will mean panic.

Luckily for all of us, a lot of Ohio grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving, at least for a bit. And we've rounded them up for your convenience so that you don't have to hear Aunt Linda once again complain that the mashed potatoes would be perfect if only there was just a little gravy.

Here are the stores that are open, in Ohio, on Thanksgiving:

• Acme Markets: Most will open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• The Fresh Market: All stores open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m
• Giant Eagle and Market District: All stores will be open until 4 p.m. Pharmacies will be closed all day.
• Kroger: Many stores open 24 hours. Some stores open 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Rite Aid: Most stores open. Call for hours.
• ShopRite: Many open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Target: All stores open 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
• Walmart: Stores will open at normal hours. Black Friday activity starts at 4 p.m.
• Whole Foods: Many will open at 7 a.m. Some will close as early as 2 p.m.
