Thunderstorms Likely In Northeast Ohio: Forecast
There is a chance for severe thunderstorms to form in much of northern Ohio on Wednesday, the National Weather service warned.
CLEVELAND — Severe thunderstorms could form in Northeast Ohio on Wednesday.
The week's rising temperatures and humidity are feeding the possibility of storms, the National Weather Service said. Inclement weather is most likely in Northeast Ohio, along Lake Erie, North Central Ohio, Northwest Ohio, and Northwest Pennsylvania.
Storms are most likely to develop in the late afternoon or evening, according to forecasts. There is is 70 percent chance of thunderstorms forming overnight.

"The primary threat is strong wind gusts," the National Weather Service said in a hazardous weather outlook statement.
Showers and thunderstorms could continue into Thursday. Rain will be likely in the morning, though more severe weather could develop in the afternoon and evening. There is a 70 percent chance of precipitation on Thursday morning.

As thunderstorms and rain fall, temperatures are likely to drop in Ohio, the National Weather Service predicts. After consecutive days with highs in the 90s, the high for Friday is projected to be 75 degrees.
The weekend will likely bring similar temperatures, though rain is again in the forecast.
