Two People Killed In Accident On E. 125th Street In Cleveland
Two vehicles collided near the intersection of E. 125th and Superior Nov. 30, with two people dying from burns at the scene.

CLEVELAND, OH -- Two people were killed as a result of a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection of E. 125th Street and Superior Avenue Nov. 30, Cleveland Police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia reported. Adrian D. Stradford, 37, of Cleveland Heights, was one of the people killed, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. The other person's identity has not yet been released by that office.
Here is what happened as reported by Sgt. Ciaccia. On Nov. 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 43-year-old man was reported driving a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on Superior Avenue over the 25 mph speed limit.
While approaching the intersection of Superior Avenue and E. 125th Street, the 2001 Chevrolet slammed into the rear of a 2008 Hyundai Sonata which was also eastbound on Superior Avenue.

The Malibu swerved left of center and struck the front of a 2004 BMW that was approaching Superior Avenue at the E. 125th Street intersection.
The Malibu rotated and struck a steel light pole, which sheared at the base.

The Sonata had been severely damaged, and the fuel tank was damaged. As the Sonata continued eastbound, rotating, it burst into flames. The Sonata struck the rear of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz that was going eastbound on Superior.
The driver and passenger of the Sonata were severely burned and pronounced dead at the scene. The initial harmful crash occurred within the Cleveland City Limits, with the vehicles coming to rest in the City of East Cleveland.
