Unidentified Man Killed On Cleveland's East Side

The man was found by police at 2 a.m. He was bleeding from the face and died on the scene. He has not yet been identified.

CLEVELAND — An unidentified man was found dead on Holton Avenue on Cleveland's east side on Thursday, police announced.

At 1:50 a.m., police were sent to the 9000 block of Holton. When they arrived, they found a man bleeding from the face. EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit are leading the investigation into the man's death. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's took the man's body and are trying to identify him, a police spokesperson said.
