Wanted: Suspect In Homicide Sought By Police

The Cleveland Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service are looking for a man suspected in a homicide case.

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of Melvin Jones, Jr. (aka “Carl” Jones).

Jones is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the Cleveland Police Department for his involvement in a homicide that occurred on Nov. 26. Jones is alleged to have shot and killed Desean Perkins, 28, at the 18000 Block of Parkmount Avenue, Cleveland.

Jones, 26, is a black male, standing approximately 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 155 pounds. Jones is known to frequent the area of Rocky River Drive and Parkmount Avenue. Jones is considered armed and dangerous.
