Woman Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle In Cleveland

A 60-year-old woman died from injuries after she and a man were hit by a vehicle crossing E. 115th Street at Sellers Avenue.

CLEVELAND, OH -- A woman and a man were struck by a car early Dec. 2 on the city's East Side. Patricia Williams, 60, of Cleveland, died hours later from her injuries, according to cleveland.com. The 54-year-old man suffered a fractured hip, a broken right femur bone and other injuries, according to Cleveland Police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia.

The couple were crossing the street at E. 115th Street and Sellers Avenue when the vehicle drove into them. The woman was taken by Cleveland EMS to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 5 a.m.

There are no suspects in the case right now.
