Woman Fights Off, Escape Attacker In Key Tower Garage

The wrench-wielding attacker was apparently no match for 60-year-old Michelle Hills-Doxley.

CLEVELAND, OH—A wrench-wielding attacker was apparently no match for 60-year-old Michelle Hills-Doxley. As she took her break in her car at the Key Tower parking garage on Monday evening, the assailant forced his way into her car, according to a report from WEWS-TV.

Hills-Doxley was able to fight off her attacker and she eventually escaped from the man, according to the report. The woman suffered minor bruises and cuts in the attack.

“Before I knew it, he came in that little space and was on top of me and the first thing he said was don’t scream,” said Doxey.
But she did. Once Doxey began screaming, her attacker hit her in the face several times with a wrench.
“I was kicking and punching and trying to gouge and everything I could think of,” she said. “He just kept telling me, 'stop screaming.'”
