Roller Coaster Rescue: More Than A Dozen Rescued [Video]
For the second time in two years, Frontier City roller coaster stalls near the top of the chair lift.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — More than a dozen visitors to a theme park were rescued from a roller coaster ride in Oklahoma Thursday after the ride stalled near the top of the attraction.
Firefighters removed the park-goers one by one in a painstaking rescue mission at the Frontier City theme park. By the end, every person was accounted for and safe back on the ground.
It's not clear what caused the roller coaster to get stuck. "It’s like being shot from a cannon as you rocket through this high-speed steel looping coaster," read a description of the ride on the theme park's website.

Theme park officials issued a statement: "Guest safety is Frontier City's top priority. As soon as each guest has been evacuated from the Silver Bullet, a thorough investigation into the reason the ride stalled will take place."
This isn't the first time the ride malfunctioned. According to news reports, the ride stalled in June 2016 the same way, also near the top of the chair lift. Consequently, firefighters rescued eight people at that time.
