Town Of Foster: Update On Restrictions Of Produce Donations To Food Pantry

The RI Food Bank has been meeting with RIDOH and RIDEM to clarify food pantry donations.  At this time, they are loosening the restrictions on fresh garden produce donations. 

They will allow these donations from community gardens, large, and small/household gardens, on the condition that they follow food safe, good agricultural practices.  The previous restrictions on farm fresh eggs, fish, game, home produced foods and honey remain in effect.  (See previous news/notices)
