Ashaway Man Killed In Richmond Crash
At around 3 a.m. Saturday, a southbound Hyundai left Rt. 3 and landed in the northbound lane of 1-95, state police said.
RICHMOND, RI — Kyle Lamphere, age 30, of Ashaway, is dead after crashing his car in Richmond.
Rhode Island State Police said that at around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Lamphere was driving a Hyundai sedan southbound on Route 3 when his car veered right, mounted an embankment, entered the wood line, and struck a tree. This collision forced the Hyundai to roll over and come to rest partially in the first lane of travel of Route 95.

Lamphere, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from his vehicle, state police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Hope Valley Rescue and Fire Department.
