The Town of Richmond is happy to announce that we have scheduled our annual Earth Day clean-up for the weekend of April 24-25. Richmond residents and friends are asked to participate in the clean-up along town roads and on town properties (including our schools), but done in a safe manner using COVID safety measures (Thank you for keeping to the rules). You can participate anytime on Saturday or Sunday. You, your family, and friends can participate in small groups by first picking up clean-up kits at Town Hall (on the front porch Friday-Sunday) to collect both recyclables and non-recyclable trash. You can secure the kits along with instructions on what to do, and use sticker(s) to be placed on a town map to identify the town streets/properties where you will complete your clean-up. Once you have completed your clean-up, the filled recyclable and trash bags should be left safely on the side of the road, so that town staff from the Department of Public Works can pick up the bags and relay them safely to the transfer station. Thank you in advance for your help to keep Richmond clean and green! Your assistance will help to maintain the high quality of life in our Town. Please be safe and join in the event!James TurekChairRichmond Conservation Commission
