AMENDMENT to the CODE OF ORDINANCES
Notice is hereby given that the Richmond Town Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING at the Town Hall on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. on proposed amendments to Sections 2.20.010 and 2.20.040 of Chapter 2.20 of the Richmond Code of Ordinances, entitled “Personnel”. The amendment would make information about vacancies in paid and unpaid Town positions available to the public by posting such information on the Town website and disseminating such information in any other manner the Town Administrator finds appropriate unless the Town Administrator determines that posting such information will not assist in attracting the most qualified candidates for the position. The amendment will also insure employees are hired in compliance with Article 3, Section 4(C) of the Richmond Home Rule Charter.
