Historic Façade to be Ripped from Century Mall
As part of the mall’s upcoming makeover, the alderman says the historic and ornate design on the building will be removed to make way for windows.

I grew up in West De Pere, Wisconsin, a suburb just outside of Green Bay. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for journalism, I dived into various media outlets through internships at print newspapers, Milwaukee Public Radio and WISN-TV. I later freelanced for Patch in Milwaukee while working part time at the TV station post-internship. After graduating, I landed a full-time job with Patch as an editor outside of Milwaukee, and when the company announced new opportunities in Chicago, I jumped on the chance to live in Lake View. It finally feels good to call my favorite community in the world home!
