St. Nicholas Celebration to Raise Funds for Lemont Township Family Assistance Fund
The fourth annual St. Nicholas Celebration will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Stonehouse Pub, 103 Stephen St., Lemont.

The fourth annual St. Nicholas Celebration will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Stonehouse Pub, 103 Stephen St., Lemont.

The electronics recycling event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 7, at Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave.
The holiday celebration will be held from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday in downtown Lemont.
The Downers Grove Park District Active Adult Center presents the Annual Holiday Party from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Lincoln Center.
Refreshments will be served inside the station from 4 to 5 p.m. The Downers Grove Choral Society and scout troops will lead the crowd in songs of the season.
Admission is canned goods for the local food pantries.
Lemont police reports, Nov. 14-20
Ages 9 to 12 are invited to decorate the kid's department at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, while ages 12 to 17 can help decorate the Giving Tree from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.
The annual Bonfield Express 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at Main and Grove streets.
The shopping event will be held from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Lester School, 236 Indianapolis Ave.
The course, which costs $310 for the eight sessions, is open to all Lemont High School juniors, as well as juniors from other area schools.
The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 1, at The American Legion, 15052 S. Archer, Lockport.
A receptacle is available at the Public Works Facility, 5101 Walnut Ave., through Feb. 1. Items may be dropped off during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Mu Alpha Theta honors excellence in mathematics.
Kids ages 9 to 12 are invited to participate.
Volunteers and donations are needed.
Those who bring in a non-perishable food item can take a class, go for a swim or work out in the Fitness Center for free from 7 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 28, 16050 127th St.
The Downers Grove Downtown Management Corporation is offering activities, events Nov. 29-Dec. 1 as part of the annual Gingerbread Festival and Small Business Saturday.
