First Thanksgiving Trivia Event for Kids on Tap at the Library
Those ages 9 to 12 can meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 50 E. Wend St., and test their knowledge of the first Thanksgiving, Native Americans, and the Pilgrims.

Items collected will be donated to Sharing Connections to benefit those in need in the community.

The event, exactly 50 years from the original dedication date in 1963, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24.
Collected oil will be turned into clean burning biofuels.
The free event will feature vendors and crafters from 6 to 9 p.m.

Shannon O’Donnell, Jaron Fay, Savannah Brija, and Phil Zukowski were honored by the District 210 Board of Education this month.
The program is presented by the Lemont Artists Guild.
The winner will be announced Tuesday, Dec. 17, on the Evelyn Jane Boutique Facebook page and receive a $75 gift certificate to the shop.

Attendees are invited to share their stories, memories and memorabilia, and view the Society’s new exhibit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this event.
All proceeds will benefit the Lemont Juniorettes' efforts to help the community.
Orders are due by Wednesday, Nov. 20.
