John is an award-winning photojournalist and writer with nearly two decades of experience as a professional in the field.
His unique, entertaining and informative stories and photographs about people, events and happenings in the community, things that make an impact, a difference, has earned him recognition from the Michigan Press Association, Society of Professional Journalists and the Michigan Press Photographers Association among others.
John's other passion is his 501c3 dog rescue, Gabe's Gang Dog Rescue. As the executive director/founder, John leads a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing homeless dachshunds and basset hounds.
John resides in Grosse Pointe with his wife and pack of dachshunds.
