• Crime Solvers seek tips after alleged Chester car burglars caught on camera using stolen credit cards at Wawa (wtvr.com) — Residents in Chester are being urged to help identify suspects after several vehicles were broken into on Moores Lake Road, with stolen credit cards later used at the Wawa on Route 1. Crime Solvers is asking anyone with information to call, text, or use the P3 app to share anonymous tips that could help solve these October incidents.
   

• Sloan officially named new OC at Kentucky (on3.com subscription) — A Chester native is stepping into a major college football spotlight, as Joe Sloan has been officially named offensive coordinator at the University of Kentucky. Sloan, a Thomas Dale High School standout who helped develop Heisman winner Jayden Daniels at LSU, is joining new head coach Will Stein’s staff and will play a key role in SEC recruiting.
