• Hall, Jr., Cyrus Onley (nrvnews.com) — Christiansburg readers may remember Cyrus “Cy” Hall, Jr. from his later-life work as a project bidder for HICO in town, following earlier theater management in Greensboro and Blacksburg. The 96-year-old Virginia native died Sunday in Houston, leaving family across several states. His family suggests memorial donations to help provide eyeglasses for people in need, a cause inspired by his own childhood experience.
