Man Accused In Shooting Of 2 Officers In Delafield In Custody
The two officers are said to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.

DELAFIELD, WI — A man accused of shooting and injuring two police officers in Delafield Friday is in custody, according to news reports.
Two police officers were shot and injured in Delafield Friday and a suspect was said to be on the run, according to The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. According to WTMJ-TV, the suspect in custody appeared the match the identity of the man on the run.
Fox 6 reports that the two officers, one from Hartland and another from Delafield, suffered non-life threatening injuries. He is identified as Nathaneal Benton who is reportedly also wanted in connection to a shooting in North Dakota, according to the news report.

Police in Delafield asked residents to avoid the area of Highway 83 and Gold Road and told residents to shelter in place.
Benton is a 23-year-old man, described by police as having brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6-feet tall and weighs 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a flat brim hat, khaki pants and a sweat shirt.

He apparently fled southbound from the scene of the shooting.
