Summer Construction Projects In Waukesha: What To Expect

When projects are expected to be completed and what is being done.

WAUKESHA, WI—The City of Waukesha has several construction projects going on over the summer. Here's a roundup of work being done the week of July 12.

On Monday, Meadow Lane Road will be reconstructed from North Grandview Blvd to approximately the 300 block of South of Silvernail Road. The project includes storm and sanitary improvement, installation of underdrains, new road base, spot curb and gutter replacement, and new asphalt pavement.

During construction businesses will still be accessible. The project is expected to take about a month to complete.

Waukesha Public Library Addition and Renovation

Work continues on the Waukesha Public Library. Internal framing began in the community and study rooms the week of July 5.

The first floor is being renovated to increase meeting space, create a creative makerspace and a demonstration kitchen.. Restrooms will be added to serve Cutler park that will be open year round to accommodate park patrons.

The library will remain open during the project.
