Waukesha Man Charged In Glacial Drumlin Trail Fires
Justin Luebbe, 34, faces nine counts of intentionally setting the fires.
WAUKESHA, WI—A Waukesha man is accused of setting fires along the Glacial Drumlin Trail.
Justin Luebbe, 34, was charged on June 25 in Waukesha County Circuit Court with nine felony counts of intentionally setting fire to another’s land, according to online court recordsonline court records.
The man told police he set the fires because he "felt like lighting stuff on fire" and was drinking, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The fires were set on land owned by private residents, the state Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin and Southern Rail and the City of Waukesha.

On April 18, police responded to a complaint of a man, later identified as Luebbe, screaming and yelling. Witnesses saw him near where the fires were set, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report said.
According to online court records, Luebbe was convicted of OWI three times and has a case pending in Fond Du Lac County.

Luebbe has a court date in Waukesha County on July 15. He was released on a $3,000 cash bond, court records said.
