30 People Found Fighting In Waukesha: Police

WAUKESHA,WI—It was an eventful weekend for Waukesha Police. Here are a few highlights from the police log from June 18-21.

  • Two teens "sparing" for sport and fitness were stopped by Waukesha Police on Friday on Madera Street. Two teenagers were fighting with boxing gloves on in the park. They were advised to keep it above the belt and walk away as friends, the log said.
  • A man with no shirt who was "hooting and hollering" in the river was reported on Saturday on Bank Street. The man was advised that he can not swim in river and was moved along, the log said.
  • 30 people were reportedly fighting on Sunday on Dodie Drive. The caller said the crowd started to go back to their cars. Two individuals were spotted running on Madera. One person had a knife and possible stolen keys, the police log said.
  • A man with a gun was reported on Sunday in the 700 block of North West Avenue. A man got into an argument with an older woman after she honked her horn at him for letting people cross the road. The man got out of his car and pointed his gun at her. Both cars left the scene, the log said.
  • A 14-year-old woke up on Monday to someone knocking on her bedroom window on Kensington Drive. She looked out the window but didn't see anyone. Police stopped a person running through the woods, the log said. It wasn't known if the person was related to the incident.
