Abigail Bralick Named 2018 Fairest Of The Fair
Abigail Bralick has been part of the Waukesha County Fair for more than 10 years.
WAUKESHA, WI - Abigail Bralick, 19, of Waukesha was named the 2018 Fairest of the Fair at the Waukesha County Fair on Wednesday night. Jenna Condon was named first runner-up. Bralick also was named Miss Congeniality.
Bralick has been part of the Waukesha County Fair for over 10 years and has participated in the horseless horse project and dog obedience training. Bralick also has shown animals in the market animal project for the last eight years, including lambs and steer, according to the Fair's website.
Bralick will promote and Fair as part of her duties. She says the Fair is vital to the community because it brings everyone together and offers an opportunity for people to “participate in activities they never thought possible," according to information on the Fair's website.

Her responsibilities as Fairest of the Fair include welcoming fair-goers, interviewing with the media, announcing special events, introducing entertainment, awarding ribbons, and representing Waukesha County in Wisconsin’s Fairest of the Fairs competition in January 2019, according to Fair officials.
The Waukesha County Fair selects its Fairest of the Fair based on personality, appearance, poise, community involvement, and overall knowledge of the Fair, according to Fair officials. Contestants must live in Waukesha County or participate in a Waukesha County 4-H program.

Bralick plans to earn her undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation and then earn a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Bralick succeeds Sarah Stock of Mukwonago, who won the 2017 Fairest of the Fair.
