Traveling Beer Gardens Will Roll Into Waukesha

The Sprecher Brewery will provide both beer and non-alcoholic beverages for the beer gardens, which build off the success of Oktoberfest.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha is rolling out the barrel for the first time this year with traveling beer gardens coming to Rivers Crossing Park and Bethesda Park in August.

According to North Shore Now, Alderman Erik Helgestad announced that the city's parks, recreation and forestry board approved the plans at its March 20 meeting. The common council still needs to approve the beer gardens.

Helgestad said interest in the beer gardens was raised after the popularity of the city's first-ever Oktoberfest celebration last year.
