Candy Cane Lane in Milwaukee County 2020: Your Guide To Go

WEST ALLIS, WI—Each Holiday season, the West Allis neighborhood bounded by Oklahoma to Montana avenues and 92nd to 96th streets is transformed into a festive holiday lights display called Candy Cane Lane.

People come from all over the Midwest to drive or stroll through the uniquely-decorated neighborhood. Candy Cane Lane has been collecting donations for The MACC Fund since 1984, the neighborhood program has raised more than $2.8 million. More than $121,000 was raised last year alone.

Each year, just before Thanksgiving, local students volunteer to give the trees in the Candy Cane Lane neighborhood their red and white candy cane wrapping.

The free event runs Nov. 27 through Dec. 27. You can drive through to see the decorations from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Fridays, 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Saturdays, and 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sundays.

The MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.) mission is to give the gift of hope through research. The goal of The MACC Fund is to find a cure for childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing research funding. It's made up of athletes, business leaders, celebrities, and hard working people who want to make a difference, according to the MACC Fund website.
