Coronavirus: Wisconsin Says Staying At Home Is Working
Wisconsinites are working to help flatten the curve of the coronavirus. Here's what the state says is working.
WISCONSIN — Wisconsin health officials are lauding the public on their efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus by staying home.
"Yes, it's working!" officials said in a release, using the hashtag #SaferAtHome.
A chart released by the state's health services department says without beginning stay-at-home procedures on March 29, coronavirus cases in Wisconsin could be up to about 10,000. Instead, they're just over 4,000.

Here's what Wisconsinites have done to help slow the spread:
- Staying safer at home by eliminating nonessential outings
- Practicing physical distancing
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water
- Covering noses and mouths while coughing and sneezing
