Customer Refuses To Leave Drive-Thru In Waukesha: Police Logs

WAUKESHA,WI—Waukesha Police responded to several calls for service over the weekend. Here are a few highlights from the police log from June 25-27.
- Two people were walking through a lot trying car handles on Friday in the 1700 block of Elder Street. The caller said the two people pretended to go into an apartment building but ran around the corner. A maintenance worker noticed one of them opening a car door. One was around 10 years old with short hair and wearing a brown and white shirt. The other person looked older and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt over his head.
- A man stood outside Starbucks, 801 W. Moreland Blvd, on Friday and was touching himself by a window. Police were unsuccessful in finding him.
- A woman upset over her food refused to leave a McDonald’s drive-thru on Silvernail Road on Sunday. She called police to say she had bad service there on Saturday and returned for a refund a day later. She didn’t have a receipt and was denied a refund. She was told to call the corporate office.
- A staff member at the Ingleside Hotel on Golf Road was yelled at by a guest on Sunday. The argument was over too many people in the guest’s room. The guests left the hotel.
- A man on his phone was reported for suspected prowling on Summit Avenue Sunday. The caller said he was circling the building and looking into windows for an hour. The man told police he stepped outside to have a private conversation. He said he was pacing back and forth and denied looking into windows. The man agreed to go across the street to the park to make his phone calls.
