Dog Killed By Car In Waukesha: Police

WAUKESHA, WI—A family's dog was struck and killed by a car on Friday evening. Police were called regarding a reckless driver on Delafield Street, according to the Waukesha Police log.

The log said the caller's dog ran into the roadway to chase another dog when it was struck. An elderly driver who the hit the dog pulled to the side of the road, the log said.

The family immediately took the dog to the vet and did not make contact with driver. The dog later died.

It was unclear if the driver was found and if the driver was cited for any wrongdoing.
