Firehouse Subs Hosting National Superhero Day With Free Subs

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI—All nine Firehouse Subs in the greater Milwaukee area will celebrate National Superhero Day on Wednesday, April 28 by offering all local first responders a complimentary medium Hook & Ladder sub, according to a news release.

Firehouse Subs is built on decades of fire and police service; having an extra appreciation for our local heroes is at the core of the brand. Local “superheroes” include firefighters, police officers, nurses, doctors, paramedics, EMS drivers and additional healthcare professionals.

Firehouse Subs restaurants will give complimentary Kids’ Combos to all children dressed in superhero or first responders gear or costumes. All restaurants will be also decorated with a superhero theme and employees will be dressing up as heroes themselves.

The first 60 “superheroes” to arrive will receive a Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation lapel magnet to raise awareness for the Foundation that actively gives back to first responders.

A portion of every purchase benefits the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and helps provide lifesaving equipment and resources to first responders and public safety organizations. The Foundation has donated nearly $342,000 to first responders in greater Milwaukee.
