Frame Park Playground Closed For Much-Needed Upgrade
The new playground incorporates many new and exciting features and will be recognized as a National Demonstration Site.

WAUKESHA, WI — The playground at Frame Park in Waukesha has closed down as a team of workers and volunteers gives the playground a much-needed upgrade.
Volunteers from the Kids Around the World program have been removing and re-purposing the existing old equipment to make way for the new equipment, and playground surfacing that will be taking place over the next several weeks.
To accommodate the indicated work, the playground area closed Aug. 16 and will remain closed until the Sep. 18 Grand Opening of the new playground.

The new playground incorporates many new and exciting features and will be recognized as a National Demonstration Site that verifies an outdoor play environment that addresses inclusion, incorporates nature and promotes outdoor fitness and physical activity.
The project is aided by a generous contribution received from Bryce and Anne Styza, city officials said.

The Community Build of the new equipment is scheduled to take place Sep. 3-5.
