Free Narcan Training In Waukesha: Here’s Where
The training will be held late Saturday morning at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

WAUKESHA, WI—Waukesha County residents can get a free training on how to use Narcan at Grave Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday.
The training takes place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church located at 700 Beechwood Avenue.
The Your Choice Prevention program and Waukesha County Health Services are conducting the training.
Everyone who attends will get a free Narcan kit.

The training will cover opioids, the signs of an overdose and how to administer Narcan if someone is overdosing. The training is open to Waukesha County Residents only.
Waukesha County says its plan to reduce the number of opioid overdose deaths in the county focuses on these strategies:
- Scanning the county to identify risk and protective factors for all county residents.
- Offering free trainings open to all county residents on the administration of naloxone, a drug that can reverse an opioid overdose.
- Distributing free kits containing naloxone to county residents who express interest.
- Opiate overdose prevention education sessions in the county.
- Reaching out to opioid users who have experienced an overdose and providing support through the county crisis system.
