As a City we are actively working with the contractor, Waste Management, to try to address these issues. The City has penalized Waste Management, to the extent possible, as allowed under the contract and will continue to do so when they do not perform the contracted services.

Waste Management is working to hire additional drivers and is renting trucks to make up for trucks that have broken down. In addition, they have hired a third party to complete bulky item collection. This will allow their current drivers to focus on residential curbside collection.
