Here's The Estimated Vaccine Wait Time In Waukesha County
The New York Times, the Surgo Foundation and Ariadne Labs used their vaccine tool to calculate what priority you would receive it.
WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI—With the United Kingdom approving a COVID-19 vaccine for use this week and the dairy state is preparing for a rollout soon, the New York Times, the Surgo Foundation and Ariadne Labs have come up with a way to calculate the number of people who will need a vaccine in each state and county — and where Waukesha County residents might fit in that line.
For example, an average 41-year-old Waukesha County resident with no professional or health-related special circumstances would be in line behind 126.5 million people across the United States, according to the study.
But those caveats make a difference.

In Wisconsin, the projection would be behind 2.2 million others who are at higher risk, in a state with a population of 5.86 million people. In Waukesha County, 145,200 would be ahead of you in a county with approximately 407,076 residents.
The same person with higher risk health conditions have a ticket around 424,500 million in Wisconsin and 29,800 in Waukesha County. A healthy first responder would be at 389,700 otherson the line on the state level and 28,300 in Waukesha County.

Vaccine Rollout
No matter what place in line you end up in, Wisconsin has been preparing to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine for months. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers is asking the federal government to "prioritize Wisconsin" when it comes to distributing the vaccine.
In a letter sent Thursday, Dec. 3 to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HSS) Secretary Alex Azar, Gov. Evers made said,
"Wisconsin is uniquely facing challenges that other states are not. While other governors are working to turn the dial as case surges, our statewide mitigation efforts have been struck down, enjoined and are currently the subject of ongoing litigation."
Evers requested the first vaccine shipments to Wisconsin arrive in large enough amounts to vaccinate all 450,000 health care workers in the state and to begin vaccinating high-risk residents.
Wisconsin has been consider a hot spot for the coronavirus for the last few months. On Thursday, the state Department of Health Services reported 4,618 new cases and 60 deaths, bringing the death toll to 3,562.
