No Children Recorded in Hidden Camera at Swimtastic Swim School [UPDATED]

A report that a hidden camera in a bathroom at Swimtastic Swim School had video of “unclad females” is being investigated, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.

The woman contacted police at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday to report finding the camera hidden in the vents, the call log states.

"Those families affected have already been contacted by our department," Capt. Ron Oremus said. "There are no current concerns about cameras in this facility, and Swimtastic has been very cooperative in the investigation.   A suspect is in custody and there is no indication the suspect was involved with recording any children attending any events or training at Swimtastic."

One person was taken into custody, according to Waukesha police records.

The Waukesha Freeman is reporting that the owner is describing the incident as “isolated” and that the cameras were found in a staff bathroom.
