Jennifer Vitek Semrad, APNP, accepting family medicine patients
The advanced practice nurse practitioner provides services at ProHealth Medical Group's Mukwonago clinic
ProHealth Medical Group has announced that advanced practice nurse practitioner Jennifer Vitek Semrad, APNP, is accepting new family medicine patients in Mukwonago.
Nurse practitioners have advanced training that combines clinical expertise with an emphasis on disease prevention and wellness. They provide a full-range of services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and educating patients about health management.
Family medicine providers treat children and adults for everything from routine ailments to longer term conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Vitek Semrad also has an interest in treating behavioral health issues, headaches and migraines.

"Working in partnership with patients allows me to deliver the most effective care,” she said. “Getting to know each patient helps to determine what treatment options will work best for them."
Vitek Semrad has been part of the medical team at ProHealth’s Mukwonago clinic for more than four years and has nearly 10 years of experience as a nursing professional. She earned her master’s degree from Duke University and is certified as a family medicine nurse practitioner.

The ProHealth Medical Group clinic in Mukwonago is located at 240 Maple Ave. If patients require procedures or hospitalization, they can be admitted to ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital or ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
