Justice Jog April 29 In Waukesha To Raise Money For Shaken Baby Syndrome Charity

Waukesha County Victim/Witness Program and Lola's Hope have teamed up to present the fundraising event.

WAUKESHA - The Waukesha County Victim/Witness Assistance Program is teaming up with Lola's Hope, a non-profit group founded by families affected by Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), to host the Justice Jog on Saturday, April 29, at Fox River Park.

Funds raised during the 2.25-mile paved walk/run will support Lola's Hope and their SBS prevention efforts and awareness events.

Lola's Hope says that while SBS is 100% preventable, it is the leading cause of child abuse deaths in the United States. A baby who suffers SBS only has a 75% chance of survival and the majority of victims suffer lifelong effects, like physical and learning disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, seizures, and speech and behavioral disorders.
